The Savannah High School Garden and Art Club is a community based club that works to build living, learning, labs to help schools with interdisciplinary project based learning activities.  These activities are design around the core principles of S.T.E.A.M. education fostering a community of learners who are committed to environmental sustainability and exploring careers in S.T.E.A.M. fields.  Underscored by the socio-emotional benefits of gardening, caring for plants and small animals, this initiative helps to develop well rounded learners able to regulate their own behaviors and emotions.
